The Kate Jackson Foundation of America Inc. (TKJF) was founded to honor the legacy of Kate Jackson, whose heart to help made her a trusted figure in her community.
Known for her kindness and generosity, people naturally turned to her when they needed support.
TKJF continues that legacy by uplifting underserved communities through education, literacy, and nonprofit partnerships.

Our purpose is to advance education, promote literacy, and support community development.
TKJF empowers both individuals and partner organizations through strategic resources, education‑focused programs, and community‑based initiatives. Together, we are building a brighter, more literate future.
Company Structure
TKJF serves as the parent organization and fiscal agent to Illiterate Know More Inc. (IKM), an affiliated nonprofit focused on eradicating illiteracy in marginalized communities.
As the parent organization, TKJF provides strategic guidance, oversight, and operational support to ensure both organizations are aligned in mission and values.
Fiscal Agency Relationship
As Fiscal Agent, TKJF manages fiduciary responsibilities for IKM, including handling donations, grants, and financial reporting.
Through this partnership, IKM operates under TKJF’s 501(c)(3) tax‑exempt status while maintaining its own programmatic direction and autonomy.
This structure ensures full regulatory compliance and financial transparency.
Why the Transition?
The name change from We Practice Piano and More, Inc. to The Kate Jackson Foundation reflects a deeper purpose—to build a living legacy in her name.
It’s more than just a rebrand; it’s a mission rooted in compassion, equity, and the transformative power of education.

Until then, our federal documentation will still reflect “We Practice Piano and More, Inc.”
